Hi all, welcome back to Trinity Swim Breaky roster. We have a new way of registering your assistance thanks to David Chokolich which should make all our lives a little easier. I’m hoping it will also make it easier for new volunteers to assist.
Just click on the link below:

Training has now been running for almost 2 weeks and attendances are at record levels.
It’s great to get to know the new Year 7 boys, who seem to be settling in remarkably well.
So far our attendances have been 30,31,32,34 at the first 4 sessions which means that on average we are getting 25% of the team attending.
There are a few problems though-
1) Year 10, 11 and 12 have been very poor in attendance. It is disappointing for us to see leaders of our team conspicuously absent. It is also not fair for Year 9 boys to try to step up and lead a team of 120.
2) The ability of boys to turn up to training on time is also a little disappointing. We are trying to build a culture based on discipline and a solid work ethic. Try to be punctual.
On a brighter note, the swim camp is tomorrow and if you are attending, please be at TC by 8.00am. There is no need to attend training if you are coming to the camp and no reason to avoid training if you are not coming to the camp.
Whilst the camp is not compulsory, it is highly recommended as a preparatory exercise to the 2016 season.
Congratulations to those boys who achieved great aquatic feats during the holidays.
Callum Lauriston-won gold medals at the State Swimming Champs and Open water champs.
Ethan Bradley, Jamie Heslop and Ethan Bradley all medalled at the same meet.
Cameron Leach and Ethan Regan competed at WA State Swim Champs and are travelling to Adelaide to compete at the SA State Champs.
Kyle Hembra, Matt Cirocco, Griffin Woodhouse and Riley Townsend all competed in pool or Open water state champs.
Lachlan Meldrum was selected into the WA Pool Lifesaving team
Jakson Egan won Bronze in the State Endurance Surf swim.
Please let me know if I’ve missed any significant achievements.
Parents, please offer your support to the breakfast programme. All boys can receive a delicious breakfast for a minimal charge, but we can’t run it without support. If every parent donated 1 morning of their time during the season, we would comfortably achieve our target.
If you would like to help please contact “Super-Mum” Angela Moffatt amoffatt@arach.net.au or Swim Manager Adam Gage gage.adam@trinity.wa.edu.au
We are on a crest of a wave at the moment, please engage in the cause and contribute actively.
Regards
Dion Mepham

As 2016 I will be taking the role of Trinity College Swim Manager.
If parents or students wish to ask any questions or post to the Trinity College Swim site, I am now your new contact person. gage.adam@trinity.wa.edu.au
Trinity College would like to thank Mr Basil Psanoudakis for his wonderful managerial role over the last couple of years and we wish him the very best for next year.
Wishing all a safe and happy Christmas and hope to see everyone on Swim Camp Friday 15th January.

Next year, as a result of popular demand, TC Swimming will be conducting a one day swimming camp. The camp will build on the boys’ skills and more importantly build the team spirit within TC Swimming. We invite the boys who will be in years 7 through to 12 in 2016 to attend a one day session at the school.
Please download the Camp Form Below:

The Trinity College Swim community would like to extend a big thank you to all of our parent helpers who pitched in to make breakfasts for our swimmers this term. Your dedication & commitment ensures that our swimmers well fed before starting the school day & motivated to come to training.
