Interschool Swimming Carnival Details
Dear Parents,
The interschool swimming carnival is to be held Thursday 9th March at HBF Stadium. The lead up to this carnival will include some changes to the normal programme. The procedure for the week will be as follows:
Training
There will be training on; Monday March 6th 6.30-7.30am (public holiday)
Wednesday March 8th 6.30-7.30am.
Wednesday training is a ‘compulsory’ team training. During this part of the season it is also important to get some rest, hence the reduced morning load.
Thursday March 9th
Inters at HBF Stadium. Team posted on website.
All team members will finish school at lunch time and will remain at school for a team lunch and warm-up. The bus will depart TC for HBF Stadium at 3.30. Swimming commences at 5.15pm and concludes at 9.05. There will be NO transport back to TC, parental transport home is required.
Reserves will be required to attend the Inters. Yr 7 Special Reserves will not swim but can choose to be a part of the whole day if they wish. SR’s can also wear PE uniform and leave at any time.
Dress for both events is Blue Trinity Swimming Shirt, Full Tracksuit, Bathers, White TC Swim Cap, Towel, Goggles and Sport Shoes. (Shorts may be brought for during the night). You can purchase any item from the clothing store before Inters night.

Timeline March 9th
12.40 pm Students finish school. Move to Gibney Hall for pasta lunch provided by parents.
1.30-2.15pm Logistical and motivational talk.
2.15-3.00pm Team Warm-up
3.15 Team Photo
3.50 pm All swimmers to travel by bus to Challenge Stadium
9.10 pm Finish. Parents to collect swimmers from Challenge Stadium.
There will be no bus back to the College.
