TC Top 100 – 2020

Great swimming over the last few days boys.

We now have 41 swimmers under 30 for the season. Our target is 60 under 30. So keep working hard and pushing for PB’s at Quads and the Penrhos swim meet.

The Quads team will be released tomorrow. Please remember;

1. This is a selection meet. If you are not selected, please let us know, as there is plenty of room for at least 1 swim each.
2. Everyone elected should attend. This is the first of 2 ‘compulsory’ meets.
3. No year 7’s or 11’s who are on the Year 7 camp will be selected for Quads swim meet.
4. You may be selected for an out of age swim (eg Yr 8 swimming in Yr 10 relay), so look closely for your name.
5. If you are one of our best swimmers in the age group, you may be left out of one or more events to give others a chance to swim fast, this will not affect your selection for Inters.

The TC army is gathering strength. Let’s keep the momentum going.

Just a friendly reminder, if you haven’t paid for your son’s breakfast, please click on the link below to make the payment on the online store.

Unfortunately, the volunteers can’t take cash as there are no facilities to record the payment. The breakfast cost is only $4 for a bacon & egg burger, hash browns, and a drink – Great value we think!

We need volunteers to make breakfast happen!

 

We need a few extra volunteers for Wednesday 19th February and Friday 21st February.

The breakfast can’t happen without volunteers;

Monday: 6:30 – 8:00am

Wednesday 6:30 – 8:00am

Friday: 6:30 – 8:00am

We need at least three (3) parent helpers each morning.

6:20am – 7:15am – Kitchen

6:20am – 7:15am – BBQ

7:15am – 8:00am – Kitchen

We would love to see some fresh faces in the kitchen this term, especially from the middle school parents. If you have a free morning or two, It’s a wonderful way to meet fellow Swim Team parents and to build that TC community spirit.

Where: Trinity Aquatic Centre
What time: 4:30pm – 6:00pm

Our third swim meet for the year is this Friday at Trinity College. All squad members are to attend the meet. The program will be Year 12 to year 7;

50 Breaststroke
50 Freestyle
50 Backstroke
100 Choice

Lanes SG 1,3&5 TC 2,4&6, and Spillover 7&8.

Please wear your TC swimmers, caps, goggles and sports uniform. Remember to bring extra towels and a water bottle.

If you can not attend for any reason, please speak to Siobhan and Dion ASAP.

St Hilda’s have asked us to contribute $10 per family to the running costs. Please bring this to the meet and hand to Siobhan.
