PSA Interschool Swimming

Dear Swimmers and Parents

Our boys compete in the PSA Interschool Swimming Carnival to be held at HBF Stadium on Tuesday 1st of March, 2022.

As is the long-held tradition at Trinity, the swimmers come together to share lunch on the day of the ‘inters’.  This year the lunch will be catered for with individually wrapped food which will follow COVID safe health directives.

Students will finish school at 1:05 pm and move to the River Side undercover area for a pasta lunch served by few volunteer parents.

The boys are also provided with an afternoon snack prior to their departure from the school to the HBF stadium. It will most likely consist of a muffin, fruit, muesli bar and water bottle.

$25.00 per head will cover the cost of the lunch, afternoon snack and gift for the coaches.

Due to the reduced swimming program this term, IF you have already paid the $75.00 for the full-term breakfast. You do not need to pay the $25.00 for Inters lunch.

Please clink on the following link to the online store to make your payment.

Once the team is posted, all team members need to get their money in by Monday 28th, February 2022.

Parent volunteers

We are seeking 8 – 10 volunteers to assist with set up, serve lunch and then clean up after the boys have finished their meal.

Assistance will be required from 10:30am – 2.30 pm. We will need all parents to be fully vaccinated and to sign in with the WA Service App. Due to these tight restrictions we would give preference to parents of year 12 students. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and if you are available for all or part of this time, please email me at

slfry@bigpond.com

We look forward to your continual support of the 2022 Trinity Swimming Team.

“Go TC!”

Kind regards

Louise Fry

TC achieves 2nd place in Quads for the 2nd time in 60 years.

Congratulations boys on a great night last night under difficult circumstances. The key to our success was a massive number of PB’s. It was also impressive to note that we had the highest attendance percentage in history.

The work that we have been doing is obviously paying off, so keep focused on the process of swimming fast.

Please remember that you MUST wear TC bathers and a TC cap on Inters night. No cap = DQ as does non-TC bathers. The clothing shop is open Friday & Tuesday to pick these items up.

60 swimmers under 30 sec and 20 under 27sec should be our aim for the season. Check where you sit in relation to that and lets push for 100% PB rate on Tuesday.

2022 Preliminary Interschool Swim Team

Please note that this Inters Team is designed to give you an indication of your position in the team only. It will allow you to practice the strokes this week that you are most likely to be swimming next Tuesday.

If you have been left out or have any issues with the events you are selected for, please let me know ASAP.

QUADS RESULTS WILL CHANGE THIS SELECTION. So if you have been left out of your best event (or the team), you have a chance to earn your spot by swimming fast at Quads. Similarly, if someone swims faster than you at Quads they will earn a spot, possibly at your expense.
