Dear Swimmers & Parents,
Well, we are reaching the pointy end of the swimming season. Only two more weeks until the interschool swimming carnival and like previous years, we would like to give our 2014 TC Swim team a healthy send off.
It’s a long held tradition at TC that the swimming parents put on lunch for our swimmers, so on Thursday 13 March, can you please bring your dish of food to the rowing kitchen (at the back of the school – Nelson Avenue) by 10.30 so we can start preparing. Please ensure your dish is labelled so we can return it to you easily, but if you can, our preferred option is if you send your lunch contribution in a disposable plate / dish would be great.
Your nominated dish is as follows:
Year 12 – prepared salad (garden, coleslaw, potato etc)
Year 11 – Fruit (please leave whole and we will plate it up in the kitchen)
Year 10 – prepared salad (garden, coleslaw, potato etc)
Year 9 – Pre-cooked Pasta / rice (lasagne, penne, fried rice, sushi etc)
Year 8 – Pre-cooked Pasta / rice (lasagne, penne, fried rice, sushi etc)
Year 7 – Pre-cooked Pasta / rice (lasagne, penne, fried rice etc)
NOTE: we do have boys with food allergies ie nuts, dairy etc, so if you have put anything in your dish which may cause a reaction, please label it accordingly.
We will need parent volunteers on the day of the 13th to help with set up, food preparation, serving lunch and clean up. Many hands make light work so if you can please let us know either via email (j.braut@importedceramic.com.au) or phone (0412 183 420) that would be greatly appreciated. You will be need from 10:00 – 2:30 (at the latest).
On the day of the interschool, we also provide the boys with a snack pack (muffin, banana, juice box) which will cost $5.00 per child. Many of you have already paid that with your breakfast monies, but if you have not, please can you pay Mel Ng at breakfast before or on Monday 10 March (Mel will be at Quads if you wish to pay her there).
We look forward to seeing you there and thank you all for your support through the Term 4 2013 & Term 1 2014, our boys really do appreciate it.
Regards,
Josie Braut
